A Sense Of Space is one of the new pieces I have been creating. This is quite a large painting and would make a great statement piece in any room.
The series “Above The Canopy” has developed from the new view from my studio window, where all the trees have been cut down (it’s ok they were a pest). What was left was one lone spindly gum tree – when you look out above the tree canopy there are always a few brave souls who strive to rise above the others. The new colour palette that is appearing in the pieces is taken from the intense colours of the Australian landscape – from the pink salt lakes to the green oceans. I’m beginning to build a world above – I keep imagining the view from above the tree tops – I think it must be a magical world.
The painting continues around the sides and comes with hanging hardware attached. It is signed on the front with Lucinda, and a Certificate of Authenticity is included.

Quiet Solitude – is part of the Exploring the solitary series.
I really enjoyed painting this piece, a quieter more gentle palette of colours, soft pinks, mushroom and grey. When I sit back and look at the painting it takes me to a quiet place which I find quite restful. The trees standing in rows draw my eye to the distance where I imagine miles and miles of gentle grasses just moving with the breeze.
The painting is painted around the sides and signed on the front with my name, Lucinda, and comes with a Certificate of Authenticity.

Tree Whispers III – This monochromatic painting of my favourite type of single tree is done with a simple palette of deep pink reds through the shades to pale pink.
In this painting I have used a technique where I scratch into the paint to reveal colour beneath; it gives a wonderful effect with added depth to the piece.I have painted this artwork on a linen board for a change from the stretched gallery style canvasses I usually use.
The painting is signed on the front with my name, Lucinda, and comes with a Certificate of Authenticity.

Silver Pink Skies forms part of the Above the Canopy series, a collection of works inspired by the rich colours and unique atmosphere of the Australian landscape. These paintings are an attempt to capture the essence of a land that holds a beauty unlike any other, a beauty that is often difficult to describe to those who have never stood beneath its trees or breathed in its air.
In creating Silver Pink Skies, I immersed myself in the colours that define this place—the silvery greens of the leaves, the deep russet bark, the way sunlight transforms and dances across its surface. The painting is not only about a tree, but about the atmosphere surrounding it, the sense of stillness and renewal that comes from being near it. My hope is that the work allows others to experience even a fragment of that feeling, no matter where it may hang.
Each painting I make is signed with my name, Lucinda, a personal mark of authenticity. Every piece is also accompanied by a Certificate of Authenticity, so you can feel confident in its provenance.
Framed with an oak floating frame.

A Country Road is an enchanting oil painting that invites viewers into a serene landscape, awash with dreamy colours. The canvas is dominated by a teal sky, creating a tranquil backdrop that seamlessly blends with the apricot-hued landscape below. This harmonious palette is punctuated by vibrant red and apricot trees, their foliage dancing gently in the breeze, adding life and warmth to the scene.
Every painting I create is signed on the front with my name, Lucinda, ensuring its authenticity and personal touch. Additionally, each artwork comes with a Certificate of Authenticity, reflecting my commitment to using only the highest quality materials in the creation of my pieces.

Always Greener is a small painting and part of the series The Colours of Australia.
There is a wonderful poem by Dorothy Mackeller called the Colours of Light which describes the colours of Australia to someone who has never seen them! Truly inspiring for an artist to paint such wonderful scenery.
The colour continues around the sides of the piece and the painting is signed on the front with my name, Lucinda, and comes with a Certificate of Authenticity.

Saw That! is a small oil painting capturing a lively ocean scene bathed in warm sunlight. In the foreground, a cheeky seagull take center stage, embodying their playful nature. This seagull, positioned daringly on the edge of the rocks dodging the waves rolling in, stares right at you with its round, expressive eyes, with a glint with mischief you just know it’s checking you out, or rather whatever you are eating!
The painting is elegantly presented in an oak floating frame, enhancing its natural aesthetic and allowing the artwork to appear as if it’s floating within the frame itself.
All my work is accompanied by a Certificate of Authenticity, assuring the provenance and quality of your chosen piece.
