In the evocative embrace of midnight blue, Cloud’s Illusions captures the ethereal beauty and complexity of the night sky, drawing viewers into its serene yet enigmatic depths. This piece is part of the Music of the Night series, a collection inspired by the interplay of sound, emotion, and the visual manifestation of dreams that dance on the precipice of consciousness. Each stroke of paint in Cloud’s Illusions resonates with the haunting melodies of Judy Collins’ rendition of Both Sides Now, a song that explores the duality of perception, the blend of clarity and illusion—much like the ever-shifting clouds above.
The handmade oak floating frame encircles the painting with natural elegance, accentuating the work without overshadowing it.
Signed on the front with Lucinda, the painting comes with a Certificate of Authenticity, assuring collectors of its originality and quality. Love And Remembrance – is a watercolour piece influenced by a wonderful Japanese artist I very much admire, Yuko Nagayama.
Pansies were used to represent love and remembrance in the Victorian era, hence the name of the piece.
I have liberally applied watercolour with large brushes and buckets of water to achieve the wonderful free effects which can be achieved with this great medium, when you allow it to have its own way. I have used a light and bright colour scheme of aquas and purples to give a romantic look to the blooming of spring, and how exciting is it to be able to display some colourful blossoms on your wall. This is part of the series in this style of works.
The painting is signed on the front with my name, Lucinda, and comes with a Certificate of Authenticity.

Romantic Reds is a watercolour piece that draws inspiration from the delicate techniques of the renowned Japanese artist, Yuko Nagayama.
Red flowers are traditionally associated with love and romance, and this painting captures that sentiment perfectly, lending the piece its evocative title.
In creating this work, I’ve embraced the fluidity of watercolour, using large brushes and generous amounts of water to allow the medium to move freely across the paper. This approach creates spontaneous, organic effects, celebrating the unpredictable beauty that watercolor can offer when you give it the freedom to flow. The light, bright palette of pinks and reds reflects the gentle arrival of spring, evoking the fresh and exciting energy of blooming flowers. Imagine displaying these vibrant blossoms on your wall, bringing a breath of life and colour into your space.

Pink Gentleness is a watercolour artwork influenced by the beautiful techniques of the Japanese artist Yuko Nagayama, whom I deeply admire.
This piece is centred around pink flowers, which are often seen as symbols of happiness, gentleness, and femininity—qualities that inspired both the subject and the name of the painting.
To bring this vision to life, I’ve employed large brushes and generous amounts of water, allowing the watercolor to move and flow freely across the paper. This approach captures the essence of the medium’s fluidity, producing soft, spontaneous effects that mirror the delicate, unrestrained nature of spring blooms. The light, bright pink palette is intended to evoke a sense of freshness and renewal, as if the flowers themselves are gently opening with the promise of spring.
As part of a broader series in this style, Pink Gentleness invites you to bring a touch of nature’s grace and beauty into your space, displaying vibrant, blossoming art that uplifts any room.

Surrender is a graphite drawing created on Bockingford 535 gsm watercolour cold-pressed archival paper, ensuring its durability and preservation. The concept for this piece has been developing for some time. After completing the initial drawing, I felt compelled to create a companion work that would deepen the narrative. The theme embodies the emotional shift from the fight to survive to the quiet acceptance of surrender, a powerful and reflective journey.
Although I don’t often release finished drawings, they remain an essential part of my artistic process. This piece, like others in my collection, reflects the raw emotional undercurrents that I explore in my work.
The drawing is signed on the front with Lucinda and comes with a Certificate of Authenticity, guaranteeing its originality and quality.

When The Sky Touched The Trees is nearly a surreal landscape – a vast and otherworldly plain stretches beneath a dark indigo sky. Coral-tinted clouds, glowing with warmth, swirl across the horizon—some edges kissed by orange light, others shaded in cool browns and blues. A single bank of clouds curl into the unmistakable shape of a hand, as if reaching from the heavens to pluck at the earth itself. Below, a pair of twisted trees grow tightly together on the open plain, their forms gnarled and intertwined like dancers locked in an ancient embrace. Their branches reach upward in fine tangles of colour—burnt browns giving way to vibrant corals, fierce pinks, and flashes of crimson. The surrounding grasses echo the fiery palette, glowing in orange and rust red.
The painting is set within a floating oak frame, grounding its dreamlike energy with natural strength and adding another touch of warmth to the piece. The artwork will be accompanied by a Certificate of Authenticity assuring the purchaser of its quality and provenance. The painting will be carefully packaged for its journey to its new home, ensuring it arrives in perfect condition.

The Watcher Of The Dust Road: In the heart of the Australian outback, where the land stretches quiet and unyielding under an endless sky, a lone ghost gum stands sentinel. Twisted by years of sun and wind, it has watched countless storms roll in, their shadows tumbling across the dusty road that slices through the ochre plain. Once, this track carried mailmen, wanderers, and dreamers—each leaving behind only faint wheel ruts and the scent of stories half-told.
The artwork will be accompanied by a Certificate of Authenticity, assuring the purchaser of its quality and provenance. The painting will be carefully packaged for its journey to its new home, ensuring it arrives in perfect condition.

Kiss Of The Sun – a twisted, orange-hued tree stands sentinel on a gentle hill, its gnarled silhouette catching the last warm kiss of the sun. Grasses ripple with soft golden-pink highlights, brushed by the setting light. Above, the sky broods in a swirling tapestry of khaki and green cloudscape, pierced by a break in the clouds where the sun—low and lingering—pours molten orange and soft rose into the scene. The natural tones hum in harmony, grounded yet dreamlike, framed in warm oak as if preserving a fleeting breath of dusk.
