  • This piece began in boldness—hot pink, vivid green, deep purple. Layer by layer, those colours softened, transforming into something gentler, until the blossoms emerged. Sweet Cosmos holds that quiet magic of transformation, where strength turns to softness and beauty blooms from within.

  • Lily Radiance marks a turning point in my creative journey. Months of experimenting, layering and exploring oil’s rich textures finally came together in this vibrant, light-filled composition.

Inspired by the luminous greens of a sunlit pond and the delicate blush of waterlily petals, I worked with a palette knife and bold brushstrokes to build texture and movement. The thick, tactile layers invite you to almost feel the water’s surface — alive with ripples, reflections and quiet energy.

For me this painting is about emergence — the moment when something dormant within rises to meet the light. The lilies bloomed and so did I.

  • A quiet contemplative piece with a tender energy. Soft layers of dusky mauves, mossy greens and glimmers of light evoke the hush of a still water garden. Inspired by the slow beauty of waterlilies, this work invites the viewer to pause - to notice the shimmer, to listen for the silence beneath the surface and to breathe deeply.

  • There is something profoundly beautiful about magnolias. Their blossoms appear on bare winter branches, long before any leaves return. That contrast – of a tree stripped right back, suddenly bursting with colour and life – became the inspiration for this painting. For me, it speaks of resilience, new beginnings, and the quiet beauty that can emerge when everything else has been pared away.

  • Inspired by the view from Kia Ora Lookout near Gloucester, NSW, this piece captures the rolling hills, wide open skies and the wildflowers dancing in the breeze. I wanted to express the sense of space, light and the quiet beauty of this landscape - a moment of stillness and connection with nature.

  • A celebration of golden light and botanical simplicity, Echinacea Glow captures the moment when late afternoon sun softens and deepens - making petals blush and the whole garden hum with warmth. Echinacea - beloved for its healing qualities and simple form - are rendered in glowing yellows, earthy greens and soft violets.

  • This painting captures that moment of transformation when light, life and movement dance together on the breeze. Layers of deep green and cobalt blue hold the warmth of gold and yellow, while airy white filaments sparkle with possibility.

Sun, Moon and Stars is a reminder of cycles, wishes and the quiet magic held in nature’s smallest details.
