Inspired by one of my personal, all time favourite albums by Faith No More. Music is one of the great wonders of life and I am constantly craving new music to inspire me.
The collage elements have been taken from old books, magazines, music sheets, packaging materials and junk mail. Lots of random oddities and text throughout. The collage elements are either partially or fully covered by paint, making this an original textural piece.
This piece is on stretched canvas and two coats of high gloss varnish have also been applied to protect the artwork. The gloss finish really makes the colours pop and gives the work a glassy finish. It has a wire at the back with painted edges, so it is ready for your walls.

Part of a recent series of small works celebrating the abandoned, mysterious and forgotten spaces and items around us.
The collage elements have been taken from vintage books, cardboard boxes, magazines, packaging materials and junk mail. I’ve reused these found items, which are often thrown away, to create something entirely new and unique.

This piece is inspired by the Stanley Kubrick film The Shining, which is an absolute horror favourite of mine. This is my interpretation of these creepy young ladies.
This is a painting made with paper rather than paint, made from 100% recycled paper and adhesive.
Made from torn and cut papers recycled from various vintage magazines, kids books, cooking books, maps and prints, repurposed then reassembled to create this one of a kind original piece. Several movie references have been included in this piece.
I am currently drawn to the random nature of collage and combining discarded, unused recycled materials and unrelated elements together to create something entirely new.
The piece is on a primed professional painting board, which is made from a smooth blonde coloured plywood panel with pine bracing, ensuring a strong and warp resistant painting support. Two coats of gloss varnish have also been applied to protect the artwork. The gloss finish really makes the colours pop and gives the work a glassy finish. It has a wire at the back with painted edges so it is ready for your walls.

A painting of Dr Nick from The Simpsons, made with paper and adhesive, no paint.
This piece is 100% paper collage and adhesive, made from torn and cut papers recycled from various vintage magazines, kids books, cooking books and maps, repurposed then assembled to create this one of a kind original piece.
An old damaged board game has also contributed loads of Simpsons related elements. In fact over 100+ of The Simpsons characters make an appearance somewhere throughout this piece.
Thousands of pieces of paper layered to create this heavily textured artwork.
I am currently drawn to the random nature of collage and combining discarded, unused recycled materials and unrelated elements together to create something entirely new.
Two coats of gloss varnish will be applied to protect the artwork. The gloss finish really makes the colours pop and gives the work a glassy finish. Please note the varnish can slightly alter some of the colours on the vintage papers, so some colours may slightly vary from the picture.
It has a wire at the back with collaged edges, so it is ready for your walls.

When I was young, this was one of the first albums that had a profound impact on me.

One of the last things I made in 2021 was this small mixed media piece on canvas. Created using acrylic paint, gouache, silver foil and collage on stretched canvas. This artwork is signed on the back.
This piece was created using paint and collage. The artwork is based on a photo I took last year at a beach in the Illawarra called Perkins Beach. This artwork combines recycled magazine clippings torn, cut and assembled, along with recycled test print pieces from my screen print work, to create a textured, heavily layered, small, one of a kind piece. Also on this piece are a few small print highlights containing a shiny metallic silver foil, which pops when looking at the work on an angle.
The piece is on a stretched wooden frame. It has a wire at the back and is ready to hang. Two coats of gloss varnish have also been applied to protect the artwork and the gloss finish really brings out all the intricate details in the work.
The edges are painted so it is ready for your wall.
