This piece is a mash up containing a screen print on paper (central face and surrounding imagery), along with layered elements of other test prints I've created over the years. These additional pieces have been torn, recycled, painted and reassembled to create this one of a kind piece.
I've also added collaged elements taken from a 1950's magazine called English Woman, which add great nostalgic vintage elements to this artwork. The ads alone in this mag are something special.
The coloured stripes are also from my old screen print test prints painted with fluoro paints that give the artwork extra depth. The layered collaged elements create a textured surface that would be impossible to create with just paint.
The piece was created on a premium Gessoed warp resistant hardboard.
Two coats of gloss varnish have also been applied to protect the artwork. The gloss gives a glassy sheen to the artwork that really brings out the details in this piece. The artwork has a wire at the back so it is ready for your wall.

Giclee prints are the best reproduction prints available.
This print run is based on my original recycled paper collage artwork on canvas, from early 2023.
The colours and details on these prints are incredibly accurate and vibrant. It's pretty much identical to the original without all the collage layering and texture. This paper has a light texture and feels like an acrylic painting.
Paper size 47.72cm x 62.96cm. Print size 45.72cm x 60.96cm.

I've been revisiting still life objects through art that bring, or have brought me joy over the years. So this piece is painted directly from my personal collection of good tunes, great shows, killer books and cracking video games.
The Real Thing by Faith No More, one of my all time favourite albums. This cassette version is painted directly onto a vintage music sheet which is on premium 1cm thick primed plywood.
Framed in a simple white painted wooden frame. Ready to hang.
Three coats of gloss varnish have been applied to protect the artwork. The gloss gives the piece a glassy finish, and really brings out all the colour in this piece.

I fear I'm becoming obsessed with creating test patterns.
This one was created digitally in photoshop, utilising scans from many of my previous collaged artworks. Selecting and layering imagery around the test pattern structure to create a vibrant, striking print. Loads of random oddities and details appear throughout the print.
The colours and details on these prints are incredibly accurate and vibrant. This paper has a light texture and feels like an acrylic painting.

Give a dog a home!
The hotdog is entirely made with recycled paper and adhesive. The background is collage and paint. The collage elements have been taken from discarded books, junk mail, packaging, maps and vintage magazines. The pieces are small and cut and torn to create the depth, composition and shape. Loads of layering and interesting random oddities throughout.
Finished with three coats of gloss varnish, this piece has a sleek, glass-like surface that enhances the depth and vibrancy of its colours.
The artwork has a wire at the back and is framed (no glass) so it is ready to hang. The wooden frame is actually an old window frame repurposed in its original natural colour. The frame has imperfections in the wood which add character. It could be painted if required.

Recycling 2 is a limited edition screen print on paper. This is a 5 layer/colour screen print on white 220gm acid free paper.
Five layers of ink in a mixture of gloss and matte inks give the print real depth. Black gloss to finish.
The print is based on an original pen and ink drawing and the final piece is about being overwhelmed by advertising. All art prints are hand printed one colour at a time and finished by the artist. Some minor ink variations during the run may occur.

Part of a recent series depicting industrial landscapes. Celebrating the overlooked, abandoned, often less visually appealing areas. Old Port Road is in the middle of Port Kembla's industrial area, surrounded by warehouses, fences and the steel works.
Two coats of satin varnish have been applied to protect the artwork. The satin finish creates a glassy sheen to the artwork that really brings out the details in this piece.

This piece was created using paint, screen print and collage. Most of the collage elements are taken from one of my multi layered screen print seascape experiments printed around eight years ago. This has been cut up and reassembled to create this piece. Recycled magazine clippings have also been added, resulting in a small heavily layered, one of a kind piece.
The piece is on stretched wooden frame. It has a wire at the back and is ready to hang. Two coats of gloss varnish have also been applied to protect the artwork and the gloss finish really brings out all the intricate details in the work.
The edges are painted so it is ready for your wall.

This image is based on a series of photos I took of my son standing in Lake Illawarra after a failed mid winter fishing trip. Both fishermen were clueless, so my son ended up in the water as the sun set behind him over the Illawarra escarpment. I have created several artworks based on this day.
This collage features paint, cut and torn magazines, maps, brochures, recycled then assembled to create this piece. The layered collaged elements create a textured surface that would be impossible to create with just paint.
The piece is on stretched canvas and two coats of high gloss varnish have also been applied to protect the artwork. The gloss finish really makes the colours pop and gives the work a glassy finish. It has a wire at the back with painted edges so it is ready for your walls.

The majority of this piece is made from recycled paper collage and adhesive. It is a painting made using paper rather than paint.
The burger is all created from paper, and the paper elements are torn and cut from various discarded magazines, books, cardboard packaging, junk mail and maps. Repurposed then assembled to create this one of a kind textural original piece. The turquoise background is acrylic paint over collage.
Two coats of gloss varnish will be applied to protect the artwork. The gloss finish really makes the colours pop and gives the work a glassy finish. Please note the varnish can slightly alter some of the colours on the vintage papers, so some colours may slightly vary from the picture.
It has a wire at the back with painted edges, so it is ready for your walls.
