This lovely painting of Icelandic poppies was commissioned to go with another rose painting I had done earlier. They hang beautifully together.

This is a diptych made up of two canvases of 60.5cm x 75.5cm, each taking the total width when hung, with a slight gap, to 126cm. This is the third in a series of geometric paintings which are colourful and balanced in design. They are done with many soft washes, lines and drizzles and then finished with a palette knife. The painting is protected with three coats of archival satin varnish. The painting was fun to do and should be a cheerful addition to any room.

While being confined to the house I was dreaming of my trips into the outback and the different places I have been. Our Diverse Land is the result of pouring my emotions onto the canvas. Our vast land with all its unique beauty, from the coastal beaches, to the red dirt of the outback and the mountains in the snow country. A lovely Australian abstract landscape to remind you of our beautiful land.

This soft flowing abstract is painted with many thin layers of subtle colours over some texture. It is an emotional painting of shifting ideas, feelings of frustration, moments of freedom and finally a solution to many problems. It has very harmonious colours and a peaceful feeling of freedom and resolution. The colours would blend in with any furnishings.

This original highly textured and very contemporary floral painting was inspired by the large plantings of irises around our ponds. They grow in large clumps and when flowering are an amazing sight. They look very natural growing around the ponds and my aim was to convey their wild habitat with texture, eathy colours and some abstraction. The painting is done on a large sheet of thin hessian-like mesh attached to the canvas which gives the texture. It is on a very thick stretched canvas with strong stretcher bars.

This lovely swan was resting while the cygnets were asleep. Swans are beautiful, graceful creatures and I was thrilled to capture this lovely pose with my camera. Photography is another passion of mine and I have combined the two here in this fine art print. I have painted the background and used glazes to soften the edges to make the print more painting-like. The print is finished with three coats of archival varnish.

Very textured seascape inspired by peaceful walks on a deserted beach. Oh the bliss of having it all to myself! Lovely soothing complementary colours.

This is a very soft painting of the early morning glow seen when I walk on the beach in the mornings. The sky is always different and never ceases to amaze me. I am constantly taking photos of the sky and reflections so that I can create this impression in the studio. It would be a very calm painting to soften any atmosphere.

This vibrant seascape with a breaching whale is painted on a unique canvas with curved edges. It sits flat on the wall but has a curved edge. The painting continues over the curve. It was inspired by a trip to watch the whales on the Fraser Coast of Queensland. It’s my impression of the water splashing everywhere as the whale breached the water. It is painted with fluid acrylic and finished off with a palette knife. It has three coats of archival varnish and is ready to hang in your home. It would be a wonderful reminder of a spectacular event.

This large very colourful abstract was inspired by the beautiful sunsets we have here over the beaches and my desire to create a very abstract impression of these lovely scenes. It was painted with many washes of complementary colours and a little palette knife work. It is a beautifully harmonious piece which would make quite a statement in any room. It has a wire attached to the back and is ready to hang.

This colourful and textured painting was inspired by the lovely billabongs I come across on my bush walks. They look wonderful with the sun shining through the trees and reflecting in the water. t is a uniquely Australian image and is a very peaceful but striking artwork which would look wonderful in any room, bringing the outside in.

This very textured painting is full of rich colour and contrasting lights and darks. I have used a palette knife and many layers of beautiful colours to create my impression of the lovely hills on the coast lines of Australia and our beautiful ocean. The edges are painted to match the front and it is finished with three coats of archival varnish.

This very harmonious painting is my impression of the Old Pedestrian Bridge at Noosa over the Weyba Lake. It is a replica of the original bridge and it is wonderful to still see these old bridges still being maintained. It is a very calm painting with the sun setting on the old bridge. It would be lovely to look at in any setting.

This painting was inspired by many picnics taken by the edge of the lake and the beautiful light shining on the water. Quite often people launch their kayaks and canoes nearby and enjoy the peace and quiet whilst paddling on the lake. It is a very scenic spot on the way to the Everglades. The painting is very textured and has many layers of different colours.
