This painting represents the push and pull of life. Conversations had, platforms we have stood on, stairs we are yet to climb, and influences over us. While we attempt to stand still in our own centre, we cannot deny the metaphorical hands that reach out to push or pull us into places we do not feel we belong. We slowly become the dance that fades off into the distance, with a cloud of constant chatter around us, so to make us forget where we once bravely stood.
But what do you see?

As the fire spreads across the divide, the two worlds share a commonality usually unseen. While the strong, passionate side allows the fire to rage, the quieter, more stable side attempts to turn the flames to a simmer, yet although there is resistance, it does not extinguish the flames entirely. A sign of an innate yearning to let oneself be lead by passion and desire, rather than always holding back.
But what do you see?

A tranquil morning scene unfolds just before the sun’s first light touches the earth. The horizon, soft and inviting, is bathed in gentle hues of blush pink, peach, tans and pastel yellows. These delicate tones ripen harmoniously suggesting the promise of a new day on the cusp of its beginning. The pastel strokes light and deliberate, convey a sense of stillness and anticipation, as if the world is holding its breath.
This piece speaks to the hopeful anticipation that exists within every new beginning. Encouraging the viewer to pause, reflect and embrace the possibilities of the coming light.

In Brilliance captures the radiant moment when the sun breaks free from the horizon, casting its first golden rays across the waking world.
The horizon line, tenderly defined, marks the beginning of a new day, a promise of warmth and possibility. The colours speak of freshness, hope and the subtle brilliance of nature, where each delicate hue transitions effortlessly into the next, embodying the quiet magnificence of dawn.
The painting serves as a visual celebration of renewal, a reminder that each day begins with the brilliance of light, transforming the ordinary into something extraordinary with its quiet, yet powerful presence.

As the sun begins to set in the wild west, a lone cactus stands tall in front of a faint mountainous backdrop. The breeze shifts the clouds around the sky, letting the remaining yellowing light peek through. A tumbleweed rolls across the foreground and the peachy orange and pink streaks of light from the setting sun cast across the landscape.

At Sunset, We Sail is part 4 of 4 of my abstract series "A Boat Time".
Sailing boat on the horizon of an uncertain sunset. Will it turn to storms with the dark clouds looming at the edges ominously? What seems fairly still on the surface of the water, is not always what is going on underneath - but will it affect the surface water? Will you put your head in the sand like the emu at the bottom left of the painting, or are you doing that to look below and within? What story does it tell you?
Designed to uplift a room with bright, bold colours and create a talking point with the story that you see within the painting.

Charging Ahead is painting 1 of 3 of my "The Boat Race" series. The wind seems to be pushing this boat through the water as it charges ahead in the boat race. Although despite helpful winds, it does seem to be creating choppy waters ahead.
You can see the figures in the sky setting direction and charging forward with the boat, showing the support of the seas and winds despite the potential challenges. This series could also be mixed and matched with my "A Boat Time" series as a collection.

And The Winner Is Orange Sherbet is part 3 of 3 of my "The Boat Race" series. As the winner 'Orange Sherbet' sails peacefully into the calm waters at the end of the race, the sky lights up a beautiful sunset to show the end of day and signify the end of a challenging boat race. You can almost feel your muscles relax as the tension of the seas has eased.

Before It All Disappears is part 1 of 4 of my "Dream State" series. A vision of a bird flying towards the remaining light over the country-side as the world behind the bird begins to unravel and disappear into chaos. The hazy edges are reminiscent of a dream as it begins fading out. However, we are left pondering - is the bird escaping from the chaos, or is what is left in its wake caused by its own destructive ways. An answer we must know before it all disappears.

Through Hidden Cloaks We Watch is part 3 of 4 in my "Dream State" series.
As if peering through a veil in secrecy while the world plays on. A mix of bright and muted colours, clearly being overrun by muted versions, evoking a sense of being hushed, devalued and misunderstood. The fractured mask appearing faintly on the right hand side representing image of self. While the faint outlines of other figures appear in front, taking centre stage.Artwork comes framed and ready to hang with wire on the back.

Romeo's Advance is part 4 of 4 in my "Dream State" series. Pretty pinks and soft tones almost representing a lullaby as you drift off to sleep. To the left there is a singular white figure getting kicked into motion as they advance their way into their journey, with mishaps and missteps along the way, as they finally proceed through the portal to their inner child, who has been waiting patiently in the bottom right hand corner of the painting the whole time.

The Hidden Wetlands painting is part 1 of 3 of my "Secret Discoveries" series. This dreamy cloud-scape evokes a sense of fantasy as we step into the realm of the hidden wetlands. Colourful and untouched, these grounds are thriving with bird life and flora. Peaceful and intriguing, we watch on, careful not to disturb the peace.

Welcome to The Quietening of the Sun. This painting is part 3 of 3 of my "The Path of the Sun" Series.
Inspired by the beauty and near stillness of sunset.
The movement in amongst the landscape is beginning to settle down for the approaching night, as the setting sun quietens its horizons. The paint strokes are intended to evoke the sensation of slowing movement amongst the landscape as the sun sets in the late afternoon. Feeling warm, calm and content - it is a perfect way to end the day.

Bright Horizons painting is part 3 of 3 of my "Secret Discoveries" series.
An aurora appears on the horizon, and the ocean seems to be gushing towards it without hesitation, taking all that surrounds with it. The entrance seems narrow and unfamiliar as we lift our heads to see what is beyond, but we cannot see.
It appears we are moving towards a beautiful bright horizon, however we are yet so far away. Will the entrance close before we get there?Artwork comes framed and ready to hang with wire on the back.

Atlantis abstract painting is part 2 of 3 of my "Secret Discoveries" series.
This misty landscape has a story to tell - do you believe it to be true or fiction? To the bottom left you can see the rise of a city, disturbing the ocean around it and creating waves. Onlookers point and gasp at the sight in the bottom right hand corner. Mist rises and hides the mountains, only a silhouette is left to be seen. But how long will it stay?
