Kiama View is bright, happy depiction of the beautiful coastal town that lies south of Sydney. This painting was a joy to make and I particularly enjoyed the sky and the lovely bright green of the sunlit grass. I've painted this scene in smaller sizes (20x40 and 20x20cm) and loved it, so creating this larger 80 x 60cm piece was a real joy. It took me ages to get around to painting this scene the first time, which had been in my plans for a few years and now I can't stop!
The painting is 80cm wide x 60cm high plus raw oak frame, so total measurements are 83x63cm. Price includes postage within Aus and painting comes with a Certificate of Authenticity.

When the Sun Tried to Shine is a painting I made after visiting the Hawkins Lookout Reserve near Wisemen's Ferry, north-west of Sydney. This spot is true river beauty without having to travel too far. We've visited this area many times in the middle of winter (until Covid and flooding started messing with our plans!) and it blows me away every time. It's secluded and peaceful and the view from this lookout is quite breathtaking.

Part of the Glimpse of the Shire collection, Beautiful Burraneer shows the view from Bulls Road looking across the water towards Gunnamatta Bay. This is my favourite piece from the series with the contrast from the shadows against the bright green of the manicured lawns and the blue of the bay. To me, these lesser known scenes (as opposed to Cronulla) are particularly special and it shows the beauty hidden in the quiet streets of the Shire.
This painting is made with quality acrylic paint on stretched canvas and is framed in beautiful raw oak. The painting measures 25x25cm plus frame. It comes with a wire across the back, ready to hang and this size looks great on it's own or part of a salon hang. It also makes a perfect gift.

This is based on a pic take at Marramarra Lodge looking out towards Bar Point and the Hawkesbury River. A stunning view of the river from between the trees.
This painting is 40x40cm (plus frame), which is a great size to add colour and interest to a smaller space (e.g. above a bedside table / next to a window) or to include in a salon hang.
The painting is framed in raw Tassie oak and ready to hang!

I started painting the Tilba series back in 2019 and it has developed over time to incorporate bolder, brighter colours as it moves further away from the visual reality, yet closer in many ways, to the feeling of the area. Tilba is such a beautiful place with its rich soil and rolling hills, just a stone's throw from the ocean. I can't wait to get back there!

Potato Point is an original painting based on the beach at the Potato Point campsite, located several hours south of Sydney. We've camped there several times (actually, this spot was my introduction to camping and clearly it was a success!), and there's nothing better than waking up, opening the tent and finding yourself right on the beach. As the late afternoon sun goes down, the light catches the rocks and the waves and it's a breathtaking view.
This painting was made based on this time of day, when the sun has gone down behind the campsite, but still stretches over the ocean towards the horizon.
I chose a flat, geometric style to form this modern piece, showing the simplicity of the beauty in this part of the world.

Every year we go camping at Potato Point on the NSW south coast. This is a contemporary, stylised painting of the view from our campsite as the sun sets behind us. It’s an absolute stunner of a place and I wanted to keep the painting simple to reflect the natural beauty of the area. I have painted this scene several times and at different times of the day and I never get bored with it!
This painting is made with quality acrylic paint on stretched canvas. The edges have been painted to form part of the painting, so whilst it can be framed, it doesn't need to! It comes with a wire across the back, ready to hang, and this size looks great on its own or part of a salon hang. It also makes a perfect gift.

This painting is a depiction of unassuming suburban beauty. The light catching the building and the rainbow-like pattern of the bright blue sky is simple and modern. This piece would make a lovely addition to any room, a talking piece for visitors and a pop of colour to lift a space.

Part of the Glimpse of the Shire collection, Clouds at Cronulla shows the gorgeous view looking north from the path that winds along the shoreline. It's a favourite walking spot for so many and it's pretty obvious why! Coastal views are the best way to start the day and I love getting down there for a morning walk, particularly on a bright day like the one captured here.
The painting will be signed on the front prior to shipping (bottom right corner) and comes with a Certificate of Authenticity.

Living Life in Tilba shows a gorgeous little corner house in Tilba. I snapped a pic from the car of this gorgeous scene several years ago during a holiday in the Tilba region. I have painted the scene previously in a rectangular landscape orientation, but this time I opted to go square and focus on the house. At the same time, I kept a lot of space around the house to help capture the feeling of quietness and simplicity. I think it worked and hope you agree!
Living Life in Tilba comes complete with a raw oak frame and a Certificate of Authenticity.

This painting was made from a photo my husband took while out boating with a friend. I loved the retro feeling of the lines and windows of the house with the deep earthy browns of the rocks. I named it This Was a Good Idea for two reasons: I think my husband was glad he went out on the water that day but, even more so, I feel like the owners of this house would have this thought everyday regarding their decision to buy it and live there. It just looks so inviting!
The painting is 80x80cm including raw oak frame and is ready to hang. At this size, it's large enough to make a statement and small enough to work well with other pieces.

As the cool kids would say, this painting is a mood! I made this painting after taking a view from the window at my wonderful friend Kate's house. It was cloudy and moody with the distant hills and the roof top in the foreground and it just felt so fresh and cozy to me. (This particular house is on the coast about an hour south of Sydney and this view is looking away from the ocean)
The painting has been framed in raw oak and is ready to hang.

This modern depiction of a boat shed on the river is a scene I have painted before. Using a reference photo I took at Como in Sydney's Sutherland Shire, this fourth painting is bright and fun with its simple lines and somewhat muted tones that still allow a level of brightness and colour. The stillness of the water is calming and the reflection adds to the holiday, restful vibe of life on the water, particularly with the tall palm trees towering over the boat shed.
The painting is made with artist quality acrylics on stretched canvas and is framed in raw oak. There is a wire for hanging and is ready and waiting to join your collection!
