The rain is falling in the distance, there is a soft mist hanging over the coastal dunes and the sky is coloured by the glow of the morning. This is part of the Rain series that follows the rain around Australian landscapes.

The artwork is sealed in a clear varnish.

  • This large, dreamy, pale grey blue and dark brown abstract is inspired by rolling hills covered in banksia trees that make a perfect walk or run.

The colours used are a beautiful pale duck egg blue, a smokey grey blue, a soft beige and off white, with accents of gold leaf. The very dark brown has a grounding influence on the soft tones.

This artwork is unstretched and ships in a roll.

I suggest Mobile Framing or Fantastic Framing for easy stretching or framing.

Acrylic, gold leaf, ink and charcoal are sealed with a clear varnish.

  • A striking palette of ebony black, a light sea glass green, a brighter aqua, shades of gold paint and sparkling gold leaf inspired by the sea, rocks and seaweed.

The banksia pods are golden and shimmering. The signature at the bottom right almost blends in.

This artwork is a thick edge stretched canvas and comes ready to hang. The gold leaf is sealed with varnish so it won't tarnish.

  • This landscape features the banksia tree clustered around the base of a hill, in smokey shades of charcoal black, beige and gold - the metallic gold changes in the light. By using acrylics in a watercolour technique there is a softness to the layers of colours, creating detail and depth. It is part of the Banksia Series and there are many artworks in this series.

This evocative abstract landscape is part of the Banksia Series.
The ridge is partly in shadow, with areas catching the sun. The featured gold leaf detail is the banksia tree - a recurring motif in my artwork.

This refined palette of charcoal black, gold leaf, shades of warm brown, beige and cream are a striking contast to the metallic gold leaf. Several of the trees are created with a handprinted translucent paper.

  • The start of summer captured in a startling sunset, in layers of oils and metallic copper.

This oil painting captures the water reflecting the sun against a backdrop of a distant outstretch of land. The clouds are layers of lilac, purple grey, cadmium yellow, soft blue grey and metallic copper that will change in the light.

    Ready to hang.

  • This is an unstretched canvas measuring 352 x 162cm, which allows for a 6cm edge to wrap around a thick stretcher or easy framing.

This large abstract landscape of creamy beige, an almost black brown, shades of off-white with sparks of metallic gold is inspired by wild grass, silhouettes and horizons of distant mountains.

The metallic gold leaf creates warmth and will change depending on the angle of the light. There are areas of collage of a thin translucent paper creating texture.

It is part of the Banksia Series and there are similar pieces in this series.

This is painted on heavyweight, high quality canvas for durability and strength.

  • The Sydney Heads (also known as the Heads) are a series of headlands that form the narrow 2 km wide entrance to Sydney Harbour in Sydney. It is very common to see multiple sail boats of all types in the harbour.

This large abstract painting in blues and white has highlights of gold leaf - representing the sun catching the sails.

    Ready to hang.

  • Banksia Mountain is a panoramic abstract landscape depicting an abstract view of trees and hills. Metallic gold leaf reflects the light through the trees.

Watarrka National Park has many stunning vistas and walking through this awesome, inspiring location at dawn is possibly one of the best times to be there.

  • A large abstract painting of banksia trees and a distant horizon in earth tones of off-white, cream, warm beige, a soft ochre and dark brown. It is highlighted with charcoal and copper leaf. The copper leaf is a rose gold in some lights and deep copper depending on your viewing angle.

Acrylic and gold leaf on canvas.

This is part of the Nautical Blue Series.

The iconic Sydney Harbour Bridge is rendered in naïve impressionistic style, in an elegant palette of dark blue, grey blues and whites, and all the shades in-between.

Accents of metallic gold leaf highlight the Harbour Bridge structure and the small silhouette of the Sydney Opera House under the bridge. The blues have been gently layered and built up to create the surf and sky. The gold leaf embellishments change and shimmer in a change of lighting and as you walk by the canvas.

This abstract landscape is inspired by a ridge of banksias.

Partly in shadow, with areas catching the sun. The featured gold leaf detail is the banksia marginata or silver banksia.

Charcoal black, gold leaf, shades of warm brown, beige and cream create a neutral colour palette.
