‘Grounded’ emphasises the importance of staying close to nature, of keeping the connection to our natural environment in our awareness, of treating her well with respect and good stewardship, and being grateful for the healing and well being that comes when we walk alongside her. Created intuitively, this painting is my internal, emotional and subconscious response. I hope it connects to something within you.
Painted and sealed with professional quality acrylics on stretched canvas. Unframed, wired on the back and ready to hang.

I love to look to the landscape to draw out stories of past memories. The landscape holds secrets of lost stories that come alive in my imagination.
This painting of unknown lands looks to be calling us, wanting to share its stories, if we would but listen.

Despite loving the summer months, there is something to be said for blowing away the cobwebs on a brisk winter's walk, or cozying up inside on a cold winter's night.
This original acrylic painting celebrates the coming and going of seasons and welcomes in the cooler, slower months.
An abstract piece created with feeling and intuition.

Touched by the moon at midnight! In this original semi abstract painting, I endeavoured to create the peaceful feeling of the full moon and how it shines its subtle light in the dark of the night. The quiet stillness on a night like this is so serene, even spiritual, and fills me with gratitude for all creation.
The loose brushstrokes and the many other techniques used, such as rubbing, sanding, scratching and scraping, are just a part of the intuitive process that I use in my nature inspired paintings.
Painted with professional quality acrylics and sealer. Framed and ready to hang as is.

When out in nature there are no need for words. I try to just 'be there', soaking up the sounds, sights and smells. This painting is my response.

The call comes from within. And being out in nature helps us hear it. Painted intuitively, this expressive artwork shows the pull, or call in a direction that one needs to venture.

This painting celebrates the simple joy of living by the sea - the daily awakening of the senses to colour, light and movement. Inspired by the fresh breezy walks at the beach here in Mangawhai where I live, the painting captures the gentle winds that lift the heat from the day, carrying with them the scent of salt and spray. It’s a refreshing reminder of coastal living - where to breathe in the fresh air renews the spirit and fills the heart with gratitude for the beauty of the everyday.

'A Moment of Presence' is a gentle invitation to pause and simply be. It serves as a reminder to slow down, breathe and take in the beauty that surrounds us. It captures those fleeting yet profound moments of stillness - when gratitude anchors us in the present and the noise of the world fades into quiet appreciation.

This painting evokes the gentle passage of time and the way memories meander through our minds like a familiar road.
It is reminiscent of journeys once taken - both real and imagined - where landscapes and emotions blur into one another.
It invites us to pause and reflect on moments past, those quiet intersections of place and memory that shape who we are and where we’ve been.

'Finding a Way' is an abstract exploration of both stillness and persistence, reminiscent of both my painting process and life itself. The work captures the feeling of being momentarily adrift - when clarity is obscured and progress uncertain. Yet within its layers lies a quiet optimism, a reminder that by allowing ourselves space to pause and breathe, a path forward eventually reveals itself.

Endless summer days are what dreams are made of. Here in New Zealand where I live, we are blessed with beautiful beaches and wilderness, perfect to be enjoyed alongside blissful summer weather. For those days when the sun is hiding, both in the physical and our inner worlds, there is always the hope that summer is not far away.
