From the back of the wardrobe, this painting came about after years of nagging from my partner. I finally painted it and absolutely loved the process.

"Stomp" is a nod to my love of music and festival culture.

"You Shoulda Put A Ring On It" is a nod to childhood spent threading these salty treats onto your fingers, and a little nod to Queen B in the title.
For the retro, vintage music loving folk who would love a fun painting, this work is intended for you.
Burger Rings were a fave of mine as a child, so I don't know why it took me so long to paint a packet. These were a joy to paint. I have specific memories of eating them after swimming lessons, this certainly plays a role in the colours in the background.
I have built layers of paint, the work has a smooth glossy finish and the sides of the work are painted, so it is ready to hang as it is.

These pop art-inspired still life paintings are an extension on my already vibrant nostalgic works, with playful titles.
“Cornered” will have you desperate for a way out, you are trapped, there is no escaping this killer.
Nostalgia associated with objects and food is what I do best. The striking green and blue background set off the Cornflakes in this still life painting.
A staple in my grandfather’s cupboard, I remember that he would begin every day with a bowl of cornflakes.
The work is vibrant and playful. Though the artwork is unframed, the painting continues to the sides of the canvas. It is varnished and ready to display.

The 2 minute noodles are an icon that has been a popular subject and one that reminds me of my own childhood. Noodles were always a treat and the slogan still runs through my head.

“94.1” a vibrant addition to the retro collection.
I became quite attached to music in my teens, everything was cassettes and radio. Plus Saturday morning Rage on ABC.
This old school radio painting is titled 94.1 as a little appreciation to Triple J, the Australian radio station I have been tuned into for near 30 years.
This is a playful work. The artwork continues to the sides of the canvas. It is sealed with a gloss varnish and with cords on the back, this painting is ready to display on your walls.

"TV WORLD", my daughter yelled out when I said I needed to name this painting. It’s the perfect title for this piece.
This TV was the first that I had in my room as a child. I recall watching Saturday morning Rage on it. It stopped working and sat on the verandah of my childhood home, where I spent my school years creating art.
The TV now sits in my home studio, and was the perfect subject to paint. The reflections in the screen capture my studio before it was recently gutted and lined.
The geometric shapes and colours in the background are reflective of the times.
The unique fluoro frame has been professionally created to fit the canvas and brings the painting to life.

From my 2022 collection, "Argh! What A Mess", this is a painting from a very personal collection.
Documenting the early days of motherhood through an extensive collection of paintings, this piece is still relevant today as my eldest is now 6. The most cost effective way to keep the kids clothes clean is still a 'value' box of OMO.
I struggled through the early years pursuing my art career, my partner, his career and bringing up the babies, a lot of the time alone. The time spent in my studio I was always accompanied by my babies.
This painting is lovingly painted, layer by layer with rich, joyous colours, reflective of that shared with me by my children. Playful, expressive brush strokes capture the emotions I experienced in that time.
A smoothly finished painting is protected and brought to life by a gloss varnish finish. The edges of the canvas have been painted so it is ready to display, but this will certainly show off in a frame.

“Pause” is one of a four piece collection of cassette paintings.
