‘Rainfall at Uluru’ brings to life rain gracing Uluru with dynamic, expressive brushstrokes.
Bold, sweeping strokes define the vibrant reds and oranges of the rock, creating a textured contrast with the sky’s moody blues and grays.
The rain is portrayed through delicate, swift vertical strokes, evoking the feeling of a sudden downpour across the arid landscape, while lively brushwork captures the movement of the water and the depth of the outback.
Framed in raw timber frame.DETAILS:
*Technique: Drip and splatter effects to simulate rain; bold, loose brushwork in both sky and land.
*Style: Contemporary landscape / expressionist realism with elements of abstract impressionism.
*Inspiration: The raw beauty of Uluru, especially its dramatic colour shifts after rainfall.
