Lindy Farley
Born, raised and based in Wagga Wagga, New South Wales, Lindy Farley creates extraordinarily colourised and multifaceted abstract artworks. Living in rural Australia, she is deeply fascinated and highly influenced by the rugged, radiant and robust landscape that surrounds her home town. Having been creatively inclined since childhood, she became a full-time working artist in early 2023, after resigning from her previous employment in administration and payroll. This leap allowed Lindy to undertake artistic progression and development in a more fulfilling manner, and expand her creative brand Lou Lou & Floss, which was initially established in 2021.
Inspired by the colours and compositions utilised by Australian artist Ken Done, Lindy’s abstracts incorporate bold, vibrant and energetic tones and texture to depict painted patchworks on the canvas. Utilising an assortment of media, that includes acrylics, inks and watercolours, her works both commence and evolve on the canvas, and are typically comprised of numerous interconnecting layers. What eventually emerges is an outward expression of her inner perspective, and what she takes in from the wider world around her. The joy and elation Lindy’s art typically evokes is frequently reflective of her free-spirited creative process and the personal fulfilment she derives from the production of her works.

“Minnie” is the life of the party in plant form. With her bold, blobby leaves swirling in sherbet tones, and her floral power-bottom combo (hello, hot pink daisies and retro gold brocade!), she brings the joy of a funky houseplant without the watering schedule. Set against deep navy, Minnie’s colours sing, pop and dance, like she’s just been dropped into a 1970s disco garden.
Playful, groovy and full of personality—she’s not just a painting, she’s your new roommate.
Beautifully framed in hardwood.

Purchasing from Lindy Farley:
The average cost to ship my works within Australia is $50. In most instances, I use Australia Post and ship within a couple of days of sale.
Most of my artworks are framed in hardwood, some in white wood. If an artwork you like is not framed, we can arrange framing for an additional $100. Please bear in mind that this will probably delay shipping by about 3-4 weeks.
Please be aware that I do not currently offer returns simply due to change of mind.
